CIS Research
The Computer and Information Sciences department faculty are active researchers in a variety of fields, including algorithmic complexity, data mining, machine learning, information fusion, data science, neuroscience, bioinformatics, networking, software engineering, robotics, and security. Undergraduate and graduate students collaborate on projects published and presented around the world. Fordham faculties have been involved in groundbreaking research not only with Fordham students but also collaborated with other renowned institutions around the world, such as WCS Bronx Zoo, US MA West Point, US Air Force Academy, New York University, Columbia University Medical Center, NYU Langone Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Stony Brook University, Pennsylvania State University, Auburn University, Wesleyan Univ, Univ. of Connecticut, University of British Columbia, and University of Toronto among many others.
