Drafting for the Theatre

Diggle is a proud Gay, Mexican Scenic Designer with Indigenous Mexica (Aztec) roots. He is originally from Puyallup, Washington but now calls Brooklyn, New York home. He received his B.A. in Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University & received his M.F.A in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University. Diggle operates both as a head designer and an associate designer with his work scene both on and off broadway and regionally. He has worked for such designers as Clint Ramos, Rachel Hauck, and Dede Ayite. At Fordham, Diggle teaches Drafting for the Theatre and uses the class to not only teach his students this necessary skill but to uplift their voices so they are always empowered to reflect who they are in any avenue of theater they are working in. He wants his students to know that even in something as drafting they are supported to represent themselves. You can find out more about his work at his website: www.diggledesigns.com
