Daniel R. Schorr
Adjunct Professor of Law
Dan Schorr is a former Yonkers Inspector General and criminal prosecutor in Westchester County and New York City, specializing in the prosecution of domestic violence, sex crimes, child abuse, and homicides. He is currently an Associate Managing Director at Kroll Advisory Solutions and hosts “Crime and Justice with Dan Schorr” on WVOX radio, which tackles major topics and cases with leading figures in the world of criminal justice. The Business Council of Westchester recently named him one of its “Rising Stars – Westchester’s 40 Under 40.” He has appeared as a legal analyst for ABC’s Good Morning America, Fox News Channel, TruTV (formerly Court TV), and elsewhere. Dan was also previously a Vice President in the Morgan Stanley Law Division. In addition, through a grant from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, he taught Chinese judges and lawyers about principles of U.S. criminal justice and trial advocacy as an Adjunct Professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
