Institutional Analysis of Reports: Sexual and Related Misconduct Policy
Upon receipt of a report of prohibited conduct, the University will perform an initial assessment of the report. As part of this assessment, the University will: (1) determine whether the reported conduct falls within the scope of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, another relevant law, or University policy; and (2) assign an Administrative Support Person to a studentcomplainant as appropriate. The University will also conduct an individualized safety and risk analysis to determine whether there is: (1) an immediate threat to the physical health or safety of any student or other community member; and/or (2) serious and immediate harm to the respondent or others. Upon completion of the initial assessment, the University will determine the next steps.
