Wednesday, October 26, 2022, McShane Campus Center, Rose Hill

Panel discussion at LGBT event at JMCC Great Room

The panel discussion offered a space for the Fordham community to reflect on the history of our shared home, celebrating the commitment of New York City and Fordham today as communities embracing, welcoming and honoring diversity in all dimensions.  Sponsored by the Center for Community Engaged Learning, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, the event commemorated LGBTQ+ History Month.

The panel included Joey Pressley, CEO of the Hetrick-Martin Institute, and representatives from from the Ali Forney Center, Drag Story Hour NYCHonest Accomplice Theater, and the Bronx's LGBT Center, Destination Tomorrow.

The event was catered by ChocoBar Cortés and Baked in Color, local LGBT owned businesses.
