Continuing Education Workshops
Are you a licensed mental health counselor and looking to receive continuing education credits to go toward your LMHC continuing education requirement? You can now earn credits through attending workshops at Fordham University’s Hagin Center, part of the Graduate School of Education, recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Mental Health Practitioners as an approved provider of continuing education (CE) credits for licensed providers.
The Hagin Center’s CE workshops offer relevant and timely lectures on a variety of mental health topics, including:
- supporting executive function in children
- avoiding burnout and vicarious trauma
- conducting antiracist psychological assessment
- assisting school transitions for children who have experienced traumatic events
These workshops are led by esteemed faculty members in the Graduate School of Education at Fordham University, like Fran Blumberg, Ph.D., Tamique Ridgard Peters, Ph.D., Angie Sjoquist, Ph.D., and Angela P. Vargas, Ph.D.
