Deleting Sections

Delete or Take a Page Offline

• When viewing the Site Structure, navigate to the Page you would like to delete
• Click on the name of the page
• Click the red "Delete" button at the bottom left OR from the drop-down Status field, select "Inactive" and click the blue "Save" button at the bottom right.
• The entire Page will be marked as red to show it is inactive. The update will be reflected on the site in 30 minutes. 
• Page deletions will be removed from search after 30 days.

Delete or Take a Section/Content Type Offline

• When viewing the Site Structure, navigate to the Page with the designated the content type
• Click the name of the the Page and then the "Content" tab
• Click on the name of the "Content Type" that you would like to delete
• At the bottom of the page, click the red "Delete" button on the left
• Click the "Save and Approve" option from the drop-down blue button on the right
• The Section/Content Type will be marked as red to show it is inactive. The update will be reflected on the site in 30 minutes.
