The interior of St. Bartholomew's Church has Byzantine features and decoration (Domes, mosaics, rounded arches). As such it is interesting to note that Mr. Goodhue did not intend to have stained glass in the windows. The clear glass originally in the windows was replaced by stained glass. The wheel window (left) was replaced with stained glass in 1943. |
