School of Law Diploma Ceremony

Graduate candidates have their name announced as they walk across the “stage” to receive their congratulatory letter from Dean Joseph Landau.

Graduates should proceed to the check-in tents to register for the ceremony.  Guests should proceed directly to the seating area on Edwards Parade.

The Severe Weather Plan has not yet been posted by the University; If the Severe Weather Plan is enacted, the Diploma Ceremony will be moved indoors and tickets will be required. The number of tickets allotted to each graduate will be posted shortly. Severe Weather Plan details will be posted to the website and announced via University and Law School communication channels.

Ram Van Service will be available from Lincoln Center to Rose Hill and from Rose Hill to Lincoln Center on May 18th.  Ram Van will begin shuttles from Lincoln Center to Rose Hill on a rolling basis from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m.  Ram Van will run from Rose Hill to Lincoln Center beginning at 12 p.m, with the last Ram Van to leave Rose Hill at 2 p.m.

If you selected to pick up your regalia on campus when ordering your cap and gown, we strongly suggest you pick it up at the designated time and location (Costantino Room on Thursday, March 26, 2026) and do not wait for the late pickup. Please review the dates carefully and be sure to bring your email confirmation along with your student ID card. If you are unable to attend the pick-up date, you may have a friend or colleague pick up your regalia by sending a communication to the Law School’s Office of Student Affairs with the name of the person who will pick up on your behalf.  They must produce ID at the pickup location.

Any law student seeking documentation to support international travel for guests should complete the Invitation Form for Visa Purposes

For JD International Students: Enrollment, Graduation and Good Standing Verification Request. 

On the form,  select "enrollment" and “other”, and under “If other, explain.” state graduation and explain the reasoning for requesting the letter.

The Diploma Ceremony will be live streamed on this page. As we get closer to the May 18th date, the link will be posted.

All students are invited to attend the University Commencement on Saturday, May 16th at 10 a.m. Class of 2026 Law School graduates will be sent an RSVP form for the University Commencement at a later date.
