GSS Graduate Assistantships

A limited number of graduate assistantships are awarded each year to qualified individuals who have been admitted to one of the degree programs in the Graduate School of Social Service. Assistantships provide opportunities for academic and professional development, as well as financial benefits.
Full and part-time students may apply. Assistantship awards provide tuition remission in the amount of $1,500 in exchange for working 100 hours during the semester.
Graduate Assistant Requirements:
- Enrolled at the Graduate School of Social Service
- Enrolled in at least 6 credits during the Fall or Spring term
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required for MSW
- In good financial and academic standing
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Selection will be made throughout the year based upon the school’s needs, applicant’s expertise, availability, and financial need.
