NYSED and ACE Continuing Education Provider
NYSED-Approved Provider of Continuing Education Hours
Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service is recognized by The State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers — #0066.
ACE-Approved Provider of Continuing Education Hours
Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service, #1815, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service maintains responsibility for the program. ACE provider approval period: 06/14/2023 – 06/14/2026.
ACE is not an approved Continuing Education provider in New York, New Jersey and West Virginia, however Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service:
- is a NYSED-approved continuing education provider in New York State.
- is a CSWE-accredited school of social work and for this reason continuing education credits for licensed social workers are accepted in New Jersey.
- is an ACE-approved continuing education provider and continuing education credits are recognized in West Virginia for classes offered outside of West VA.
Social workers should contact their state licensing board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.
