NYS/NYC Professional Development Resource Center for Religious and Independent Schools
The Professional Development Resource Center (PDRC) for Religious and Independent Schools offers administrators and teachers access to the many benefits of in-person and virtual learning opportunities that are aligned to Fordham’s standards for rigorous academic endeavors, reflective pedagogy, and a commitment to social justice, personal responsibility, and equity for all learners.
- Current, interactive, and personalized opportunities to learn instructional practices that educate the whole child, from Pre-K to adolescence, and help them master challenging academic content, develop social responsibility, and foster intercultural communication.
- Chat & Network events: School and organizational leaders have the opportunity to meet monthly to share successes and challenges, and to problem-solve immediate and long-term concerns while building a professional community among non-public school educators.
PDRC Spring-Summer 2022 Program
We have journeyed through another year of unprecedented emotional and academic challenges. As summer rapidly approaches, we invite you to read our newsletter for timely articles with great resources for teachers and administrators. June is also a time for reflection and planning, and we invite you to attend Dr. Gerard Cattaro's leadership conference on June 15th at 2:00pm. Dr. Cattaro, Director of the Center for Catholic School Leadership and Faith-Based education at Fordham University will engage school leaders in conversation about planning, by eliminating the negative and looking ahead to a promising new year.
Educators frequently asked for On-Demand professional development opportunities to help them prepare for new goals and enrich their practice. Please review our catalog of On-Demand Webinars, where you can expand and build upon your own personal strategies and also obtain CTLE credits.
