The Admissions Process
GSAS utilizes a holistic or “whole file” admissions approach in reviewing applications for matriculation into its degree and advanced certificate programs. This approach helps ensure the consideration of a wide range of applicant qualities, and takes into account a broad base of evidence in rendering admissions decisions.
We consider your application to be complete and ready for review only when it includes a submitted online application and all required supplemental materials. Please consult the How to Apply and Application Deadlines pages of the GSAS web site for more information on the various elements that constitute a completed application, and be sure to review the admissions requirements of your program of interest.
Application Fee - Waived for New Fall 2021 Applicants
The $70 application fee is currently waived for new applicants for admission for the fall 2021 entry terms. The waiver is automatically applied upon submission of your application.
