GSAS Admissions

Fordham University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) is a selective school with a population of 493 master's and 345 doctoral students enrolled.

The Admissions Process

GSAS utilizes a holistic or “whole file” admissions approach in reviewing applications for matriculation into its degree and advanced certificate programs. This approach helps ensure the consideration of a wide range of applicant qualities, and takes into account a broad base of evidence in rendering admissions decisions.

We consider your application to be complete and ready for review only when it includes a submitted online application and all required supplemental materials. Please consult the How to Apply and Application Deadlines pages of the GSAS web site for more information on the various elements that constitute a completed application, and be sure to review the admissions requirements of your program of interest.

Application Fee

The $70 application fee has been waived through August 31, 2022. Select applicants may qualify for an application fee waiver. For more information and eligibility requirements, please visit the Tuition and Fees page of the GSAS website.
