GSAS Diploma Ceremony
The Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences will host an in-person diploma ceremony for the Classes of 2020 and 2021 on Sunday, September 19, at 1:00 p.m. on the Rose Hill campus.
The tentative location for the event will be Edward’s Parade; more information about event logistics will be forthcoming.
GSAS graduates may bring a total of six (6) guests to the event. Guests will be required to present tickets to ceremony staff. Please visit the Tickets for Diploma Ceremony page to claim your tickets.
Please note that this event will be open to vaccinated graduates and guests only. You will be asked to present proof of vaccination via a vaccination card or a New York State Excelsior pass upon your arrival to campus that day.
Guests under the age of 12 must provide a negative PCR COVID-19 test result taken no more than 72 hours prior to the ceremony and wear a mask at all times while on Fordham's campus.
Fordham continues to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and may be required to make changes based on federal, state, and city regulations, and/or for the health and safety of our students and employees. We will keep you updated on any changes made prior to the ceremony date.
For August, 2021 Graduates: Please keep in mind that only students who have been officially cleared for graduation are eligible to attend.
Caps and Gowns Availability
Caps and Gowns will be available for rental on the day of the event. The cost will be $63 for Masters and $124 for Doctoral gowns. Cash or card will be accepted. You can pick them up at Keating Hall, Room 110. They will need to be returned after the ceremony.
