Applicants must also:
- Complete three years of appropriate leadership experience in a PreK-12 education setting (e.g., assistant principal, school administrator, district leader, superintendent, teacher leader, student support director, or department chair)
- possess appropriate professional administrative certification;
- possess a master's degree, including fundamental and intermediate courses equivalent to those required by the division; and
- show evidence of academic ability, effective communication skills, leadership potential, and seriousness of purpose.
