India Derewetzky (FCLC 2020)
Fifth Cup (play)
India Derewetzky began writing a play during her undergraduate studies about a modern Jewish family struggling to reconcile their Jewish faith and the ecological morality of the 21st-century. As a Duffy Fellow, Derewetsky completed this project, culminating in a public reading.

Anastasia McGrath (FCRH 2021)
“The Luminous Religion: How was Christianity Translated into Chinese?” (research presentation)
Major: International Political Economy
Minor: Mandarin Chinese
Anastasia McGrath examined how different Christian theological terms and concepts were translated into Mandarin Chinese from the original Latin and other European languages for her Duffy Fellow project. Ultimately, McGrath aimed to shed light on the Church in China from a historical, cultural, and linguistic standpoint. She presented her findings in two lectures, one in Mandarin and one in English.

“Power and the Cross: The Rise of FREPAP in Peruvian Politics” (research presentation)
Major: Theology and Economics
Carlos Orbegoso Barrios, born and raised in Lima, Peru, researched the connection between Latin American politics and religion for his Duffy Fellow project.
