Minor: Peace and Justice Studies and Visual Arts

Caitriona Delumpa, through storytelling and interviews, documented how contemporary young adults experience and even reimagine religion across faith traditions. Her Duffy Fellow project concluded with a public art exhibition representing these perspectives in various media.

Anna Nowalk (FCLC 2023)

All Who Labor (podcast)

Major: Music and Theology and Religious Studies

Concentration: American Catholic Studies

Anna Nowalk explored how Catholics in the United States have responded to labor issues amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic for her Duffy Fellow project. Her research was framed within the broader context of Catholic Social Teaching and the history of Catholic labor activism. Nowalk’s project culminated in a podcast that aired in 2023.

Henry Sullivan (FCRH 2024)

Questions on the Catholic Imagination(s) (documentary)

Major: Urban Studies and Theology

Henry Sullivan was a member of the Rose Hill Society, a John Lewis Scholar with the Faith & Politics Institute, and a past intern at the pro-bono legal department of Catholic Charities. As a Duffy Fellow, Sullivan investigated both the sincere and ironic usage of provocative Catholic imagery in fashion and art. Drawing on his background in photography, this project culminated in a documentary.
