From a sunset cruise around Manhattan to a poignant tribute to families on campus, the week before Commencement is a time for Fordham seniors to dance the night away and soak in the Rams’ “four years for life” vibe.
Here’s a look at some of the most memorable Fordham events and traditions that make Senior Week so special.
A Night on the Hudson and a Landmark Ball
Each year, Fordham seniors and their guests don their best attire for dinner, dancing, and drinks in some of New York City’s most iconic spots. Students at Lincoln Center take a cruise along the Hudson River, with sunset views of the Statue of Liberty and dancing under the stars.

For students at Rose Hill, a landmark spot like the world-famous Cipriani 42nd Street is the scene of the annual Senior Ball.

‘Once a Ram, Always a Ram’
From hanging out under the bleachers at Moglia Stadium to enjoying a barbecue out on the Plaza at Lincoln Center, seniors get to kick back, play games, and enjoy each other’s company throughout the week.

Students also take an iconic senior class photo on Keating Steps at the Always a Ram luncheon and receive mementos with their class year on them.

Thanking Families: Gratitude for What Got You Here
The night before Commencement, seniors have a chance to celebrate with their parents and family members who helped them get to graduation. The annual Parent Appreciation Dinner Dances are the perfect way to reminisce about the past four years, celebrate successes, and get ready for the big day. And all students and families are invited to the Baccalaureate Mass to give thanks for all they’ve accomplished and to look ahead with gratitude and hope.

Honoring Next-Generation Leaders
Each of Fordham’s undergraduate schools takes the time to recognize the achievements and service of a broad range of students, from the valedictorians to campus and community leaders.
