The Empire State Building once again shone Fordham maroon on the night of University Commencement, Saturday, May 16, celebrating the Class of 2026. The tribute atop this iconic New York City landmark honors graduates who have made their mark on the city and beyond.

Fordham Names 2026 Honorary Degree Recipients
At commencement, Fordham will award honorary degrees to two accomplished Fordham alumni: Gerry Byrne ’66, a trailblazing media executive and advocate for military veterans, and Maureen Corrigan ’77, an award-winning author and book critic for NPR’s Fresh Air.
