Orientation Coordinators

The Rose Hill Orientation Coordinators are undergraduate student leaders, who are tasked with developing Orientation Programs and training a team of over 200 Orientation Captains, Leaders, and Assistants. They play a critical role in the support of new students and families. The Orientation Coordinator position is a year-long paid internship at Fordham that will expose students to a variety of areas including leadership training and development, event planning, personnel management, marketing and communications, budget administration, and much more.OC Emma Sammons

Orientation Coordinator for Marketing and Communications

Emma Sammons, FCRH '21

Emma Sammons serves as the Orientation Coordinator for Marketing and Communications. She is a rising Senior from Mystic, Connecticut. Emma is an International Studies Major and Spanish Language and Literature Major with a concentration in Global Affairs on the pre-law track. Aside from Orientation, Emma serves as the Co-Chair for Social Media for Senior week, she is a member of Fordham Club, SPIRE, and was a Freshman Academic Student Advisor. Emma also participated in a GO! Project trip to Guatemala!

Orientation Coordinator for Logistics and Operations

Bobby McCormick, FCRH '21OC Bobby

Bobby McCormick serves as the Orientation Coordinator for Operations and Logistics. He is a rising senior from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania majoring in History and minoring in Business Administration, on the Pre-Law track. Throughout his time at Fordham, Bobby has taken part in various student clubs and organizations, including Fordham Club, Fordham Dance Marathon, Rose Hill Society, First Year Formation, Rose Hill Orchestra, and of course our very own New Student Orientation! In addition, he holds an on-campus job at the Office for Student Involvement, frequently communicating with numerous student organizations. Bobby has also held external internships in New York City, the first of which being a Development Internship for the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, and the most recent being a Community Affairs Internship for The Office of State Senator Gustavo Rivera. Following graduation, he plans on attending law school, with aspirations to become an attorney. Bobby is so grateful for the constant support and inspiration his colleagues and those of the Fordham community have provided for the past four years!

Bella Iazzetta, FCRH '22

Bella Iazzetta serves as one of the Orientation Coordinators for Staff Training and Development. She is a rising Junior from Bethel, Connecticut, majoring in Humanitarian Studies and Theology and minoring in Peace and Justice Studies. On campus, Bella is president of JesNet, a Jesuit-based club that serves to connect Fordham students with the Jesuits of Murray-Weigel. Aside from Orientation and JesNet, Bella is also part of Rose Hill Society, on the Liturgy Board for Campus Ministry, a member of the Curran Honors program for American Catholicism, and was previously a Freshman Academic Student Advisor. She also recently participated in a GO! Project trip to Mexico earlier this year!

Luke Vernaci, FCRH '22OC Luke

Luke Vernaci serves as one of the Orientation Coordinators for Staff Training and Development. He is a rising Junior, majoring in Psychology on the pre-law track with minors in Philosophy and Bioethics. On campus, Luke serves as the editor in chief for Rose Hill Society, the Senior editor for the Fordham Undergraduate Law Review, and is captain of an intramural flag football team. In his free time, Luke also teaches swim lessons to youth in the Bronx. Fun fact: you can always find Luke sporting Lululemon of Vineyard Vines!

 

 

Cody Arcuri

Assistant Dean for Student Involvement
Cody Arcuri joined the Office for Student Involvement in July of 2012. Prior to working at Fordham University, Cody was a Graduate Intern at Western Connecticut State University. 

Tom Balestracci

Associate Director for Student Formation
Tom Balestracci serves as the Associate Director for Student Formation in the Office for Student Involvement. Tom works with various transition programs including New Student Orientation, First Year Formation seminars, and Senior programs. He previously worked at Southern New Hampshire University in Student Involvement. Tom obtained his Master's Degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island and his Bachelor's Degree in Sport & Leisure Management from Eastern Connecticut State University.

Nicole Bregante

Student Intern for Student Formation
Nicole Bregante serves as the Student Intern for Student Formation in the Office for Student Involvement. Nicole works with our transition programs, New Student Orientation and First Year Formation. She was part of the Orientation Team for 3 years, most recently as one of the Orientation Coordinators for Training and Staff Development. Nicole is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Math here at Fordham Rose Hill. She will be graduating this Spring 2020 where she will then pursue her Master's Degree in Teaching in Fordham's Graduate School of Education.
