  • Linda White-Ryan, PhD, LMSW, RN, CASAC, is Assistant Dean at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. She received both her PhD and MSW from Fordham University. She currently teaches at Fordham University courses in advanced clinical assessment and diagnosis and social work practice with abusers of alcohol and other substances. Dr. White-Ryan has 25 years of experience working in the health care field working in mental health and substance abuse in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. She has developed alcohol and substance abuse prevention workshops and presented them in many school systems throughout Westchester County. Dr. White-Ryan is a social work clinician with a private practice specializing in working with children, adolescents, and their families regarding behavioral problems and issues involving alcohol and substance abuse. Dr. White-Ryan is also a researcher and her current research interests involve older adults with alcohol and substance abuse problems.
