You may select from some 200 elective courses, helping you discover your legal interests. Gain firsthand experience through experiential education in Fordham Law’s clinics and J.D. externships. As you chart your path through the School’s curriculum, you will take Corporations, Professional Responsibility, and courses that satisfy the Fordham Law’s skills and legal writing requirements, as detailed in our Academic Regulations.

If you want to focus on a particular field of law, explore our J.D. concentrations. You can sharpen your knowledge in a group of classes associated with specialized areas of legal practice. With a concentration, you will signal to employers that you’re prepared for focused legal work when you graduate.
