Dorothy A. Wenzel, Ph.D.
Senior Director for Student Involvement

A native of Queens, New York, Dr. Wenzel became the Director for Student Involvement in February 2006. As an undergraduate student at Loyola College in Maryland, Dr. Wenzel worked as an Orientation Leader and Coordinator. She is excited to be involved with New Student Orientation at Fordham University at Lincoln Center to welcome the new students to our Fordham family.

Daniel A. Patterson
Associate Director for First-Year Experience

A Midwest Native, Daniel grew up in Illinois and joined the Fordham family in January of 2009. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Daniel left the cold Midwest to work at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, before heading back east to work with New Student Orientation. He is excited to meet all the new Rams in the Class of 2026!

Emily Ellis, FCLC '23

New Student Orientation Coordinator

Emily is a rising FCLC senior majoring in English and Sociology with a concentration in creative writing. She is a Head Copy Editor for the Fordham Observer, the Online Editor for grain of salt magazine, a tour guide for Lincoln Center society, and a teaching assistant with Breakthrough New York. Outside of Fordham, Emily can be found scribbling in her notebook, spending way too long in bookstores, and watching reality TV with her friends. Emily can’t wait to welcome new students to the Fordham Ramily!

Emma Regovich, FCLC '24

New Student Orientation Coordinator

Emma is a rising FCLC junior majoring in Math and Economics with a minor in French. She is originally from Moorestown New Jersey, and now loves living in the heart of NYC. Emma is a tour guide for the Lincoln Center Society and a member of the Fordham Lincoln Center Chamber Orchestra. In her free time she can be found trying new restaurants with friends, going to see live music, or staying in with a good book. Emma can’t wait to welcome new students!

Evelyn Sims, FCLC '23

New Student Orientation Coordinator

Evelyn is a rising FCLC senior double majoring in New Media and Digital Design and English. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, she is proud to call NYC her home. Evelyn is  a tour guide for Lincoln Center society and proud contributor to the Fordham Observer and the Fordham Undergraduate Research Journal.. In her free time, Evelyn can be found exploring the city with friends and thrifting for a new wardrobe. This is her third year on the Orientation team, and she is so excited to meet new students!.

Melanie Sztulman, GSBLC '23

New Student Orientation Coordinator

Melanie is a rising senior in the GSB with a major in Global Business concentrating in Global Marketing with Consumer Insights and minoring in Political Science. On Campus, she is involved in United Student Government and spent several semesters playing the flute in Chamber Orchestra. Off campus, Melanie spends her time walking through Central Park, cooking with her roommates, and exploring the boroughs with her friends. She is thrilled to welcome new students to Fordham this fall!
