Our Mission
The mission of the Office of Government Relations is to promote and facilitate public policy objectives that support and enhance Fordham University’s reputation and unique standing as the Jesuit University of New York City. Working in concert with government officials, business and industry representatives, other colleges and universities, the campus community, and alumni, it is the goal of this office to ensure that the public policy interests of the University and its Board of Trustees are served.

Faculty and students should contact the Office of Government Relations if they:
- would like to share policy-relevant research with interested policymakers and staff
- have a pressing policy issue of importance to your scholarship, discipline, or access to higher education
- are planning to participate in an association’s advocacy day
- would like to learn more about how the Office of Government Relations can be of support
