Biography

Eli is an M.T.S. candidate in the class of 2025 with a modern & contemporary concentration. Specifically, Eli is interested in synodality within the Catholic Church and Catholic mission integration at the higher education level. Originally from Litchfield County, Connecticut, Eli completed his undergraduate work at Fordham with a B.S. in accounting and minor in theology. As an undergraduate, he was involved with retreat ministry, liturgical music ministry, and the accounting & finance honors society.

As a current student, he is also the Assistant for Liturgical Ministry & Church Operations in the division of Mission Integration, helping coordinate all liturgical events and maintain the physical University Church at Rose Hill. In this role, Eli lives in Queens Court, a first year residential college and acts as a Resident Minister, offering support and Campus Ministry resources to the first year residents and undergraduate resident staff. He’s incredibly excited to be part of the Theology Department and hopes to help other theology students get involved with Campus Ministry work! Outside of academics and work, Eli enjoys hiking, cooking, running, and spending time outdoors.
