Biography

Robert Cortegiano is a doctoral student in systematic theology at Fordham University. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from Colgate University, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling from the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education at Fordham University, and a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. His research interests are in the areas of ecclesiology, ethnography, and practical theology, with a focus on the study of progressive Catholic Church reform groups such as Call to Action and Future Church and their significance for contemporary Catholicism in the United States. Robert lives in Queens, NY with his wife, Kristen, and enjoys travelling, running, watching New York Yankees baseball, and seeing opera, theatre, and jazz performances in NYC.
