Michael Ward

Adjunct Professor of Law

Starting Fall 2024, Michael will be an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law.

Michael has extensive legal experience in the areas of marketing, distribution, intellectual property, contracts, litigation, website workflow, risk management and compliance, most recently as SVP, Deputy General Counsel of Showtime Networks Inc.

In that role, he was a key player in the launch of Sundance Channel, Smithsonian Channel and streaming versions of Showtime, Smithsonian Channel and Showtime Pay-Per-View. On behalf of Showtime Networks and its sister company CBS he negotiated and drafted distribution agreements with cable, telephone, satellite and streaming platform companies.  

Michael now has his own law practice and is also a member of the Board of Advisors for start-up The Parks Channel.
