In the Jesuit education model of caring for the whole person, living comes together in Queen's Court Residential College.
Queen's Court Residential College, an intentional community of up to 150 residents, was established to assist in the integration of first-year students into University life. Its inception in 1987 was a response to a felt need for a living experience that would embody the best qualities of a Jesuit education:

- Exploring Spirituality
- Living a Substance-Free Lifestyle
Residents invest their time and talents into a community that pays them back tenfold. The hall is more than a place with special events and in-hall classes.
Queen’s Court is a combination of three halls—St. John’s Hall, Robert’s Hall, and Bishop’s Hall. Each is steeped in the history and traditions of Fordham University.

- Converted triples have two beds that are bunked, and one that is lofted. These rooms come with three computer desks, three dresses and two large closets.
The mattress and bed frame are twin XL. The clearance height under the bed is approximately 2 ft.
Hard-wired Internet access and cable television are available for each student in their bedroom, in addition to wireless connectivity throughout the hall.

Bishop’s Hall houses the main lounge, one of the most elegant rooms at the University. It serves as a quiet study area and a gathering place for hall programs.
Each semester, core curriculum courses are offered in Queen’s Court as part of the residential college experience. They are taught by outstanding faculty members.

Many of the events and activities in Queen’s Court continue in the legacy of Jesuit Father Joseph Koterski, SJ, who assisted in the foundation of Queen’s Court nearly a half century ago. The events and activities of the Queen's Court Integrated Learning Community aim to challenge ideas, expand horizons, promote reflection, and enhance community.
The following are signature programs unique to Queen’s Court:
Knight Court
One of the most popular programs, Knight Court gives residents an opportunity to speak on a topic or demonstrate a skill or talent of their choosing. Residents are expected to attend two of the four weekly sessions, held Monday through Thursday at 10 p.m.Art Court
Art Court gives resident actors, musicians, artists, photographers, poets, and orators a chance to showcase the fruits of their creative labors. Art Court is held each year in the spring.Queen's Court Awards Night
Awards Night recognizes members of the Queen’s Court community who have best demonstrated the spirit and standards of the residential college. This night occurs at the end of each academic year.NYC Cultural Outings
Cultural Events at Queen’s Court assists students in arranging for subsidized and reduced-price tickets to Broadway musicals, improvisational theater, the New York Philharmonic, and ballet and opera performances. Tickets average $20.Bagel Brunch with The New York Times
Bagel Brunch with The New York Times gives residents an opportunity to socialize with one another and to relax. Should you wish to live in Queen’s Court, please understand the commitment you are making to participate actively in creating a dynamic community. Queen’s Court is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis dependent on the date and time that the housing application is submitted.
Students are able to pre-apply to the Queen's Court Program via the Rose Hill Residential Life Housing Portal. Please check your Fordham Gmail account for information. In order to fill out your application, please prepare the following essay ahead of time:
For placement in this hall, explain your interest in a residential college experience and stating that you understand and accept the policies and standards of Queen’s Court Residential College. In your essay, be sure to address your commitment to our community standards as a substance-free wellness community for the duration of your first year here at Fordham.
Although you fill out the pre-application, you will still need to fill out your housing application through mypages. Please be sure to select Queen's Court as one of your top 3 choices.

The Queen’s Court staff consists of a master and an assistant master/faculty-in-residence, a resident director and five undergraduate resident assistants. The master and the assistant master also serve as academic advisers and counselors for residents.

[email protected]Elijah Smith is a Central New York native and he earned a dual B.S. in Human Resources Management and Information Systems from Le Moyne College, a Jesuit university in Syracuse, NY. Having served in many student leadership roles throughout his undergraduate years, Elijah is passionate about the holistic support, development, and mentorship of students as they navigate the many joys and challenges of college life. Elijah attributes his love for residential life and higher education to his years as an RA at Le Moyne and he looks forward to a long career of serving students and supporting the mission of higher education. Elijah is also a life-long Star Wars fan, avid traveler (16 countries and counting!), and roller coaster enthusiast.
Housing rates for the 2026-2027 academic year
Rates are for the nine-month academic year and include all utilities, cable television, telephone service, laundry, and membership to the Lombardi Fitness Center. These rates do not include the residence hall activity fee. Room configurations and rates are subject to change.
All residents in this dormitory are required to have a meal plan.
