Overview
Fordham’s Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing (ACSRI) is charged with providing perspectives on implementing the University’s Investing Policy in response to written proposals from the Fordham community concerning issues related to socially responsible investing.
The ACSRI will serve as an advisory body. Fiduciary oversight for the endowment is vested in the Investment Committee, which operates under the University’s Board of Trustees.
The ACSRI does not have the authority to review, veto, or recommend specific endowment investments (i.e., individual companies) nor to address the day-to-day operations of the University. However, should the ACSRI determine that a proposal from the University community warrants further consideration, it will conduct a thorough discernment exercise and submit a written report and recommendation to the Investment Committee. The Board of Trustees retains final decision-making authority.
ACSRI’s operations are governed by the following Principles & Operating Guidelines.

The Committee is composed of twelve voting members, including faculty, staff, administrators, and student representatives. ACSRI’s chair is Dr. An Yan, Professor of Finance & Business Economics.
