Michelle joined the Fordham Law Library in August 2018, as Faculty Services Librarian.  She received a JD from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in 2011.  While in law school, she interned for the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and the Alaska Public Defender.  She also served as a Research Assistant for the International Criminal Court’s Legal Tools Project.  After law school, Michelle taught English in Tbilisi, was a research fellow at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and obtained her PhD in legal history from the University of Colorado with a dissertation titled The Extermination of Peaceful Soviet Citizens: Aron Trainin and International Law.  Michelle received her MLIS degree from the University of Arizona in 2018, where she served as a Law Library Fellow.
