Experience

Don M. Obert is the managing member of The Obert Law Firm, P.L.L.C. Mr. Obert concentrates his practice in the areas of customs, international trade, export control, and federal regulatory compliance. For more than 20 years Mr. Obert has represented and counseled numerous American, foreign and multinational importers, exporters, manufacturers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders involved in the movement of goods and delivery of services throughout the world.

Mr. Obert has extensive experience in the laws and regulations of various federal agencies, including but not limited to, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, U.S. Food & Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry & Security, U.S. Department of Defense, Office of Foreign Assets Control, and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
