Fordham University has developed a comprehensive plan, Fordham Forward, for successfully restarting operations on our New York campuses and welcoming students, faculty, and staff back to campus. The careful planning effort addresses the public health concerns around restarting the University before a vaccine is commercially available.
The restart of Fordham University will conform with the governor’s plan to restart New York. As outlined in New York Forward, the state will reopen on a regional basis as each region meets the criteria necessary to protect public health.
Fordham’s plan is designed around four phases. It is not possible to predict on what dates Fordham will be authorized by New York State to proceed from one phase to the next; however, we stand ready to implement the measures outlined in this plan:
