Randy Tritell is associate director of the Fordham Competition Law Institute.

Randy was the Director of the Federal Trade Commission's Office of International Affairs from its inception in 2007 until 2022. In that capacity, he was responsible for the international aspects of the FTC's enforcement and policy, including case coordination, representation in international organizations, negotiation and implementation of bilateral cooperation agreements, negotiation of competition and consumer protection chapters of US trade agreements, and oversight of the agency's international technical assistance programs. He previously served as Assistant Director of the Bureau of Competition's International Antitrust Division and, during his first stint at the agency, Executive Assistant to the Chairman among other positions. Mr. Tritell spent twelve years with Weil Gotshal & Manges in New York and in Brussels, Belgium, where he was the founding partner of the firm's office. Mr. Tritell has held several leadership positions in the American Bar Association's Antitrust Law Section, including currently as Co-chair Emeritus of its Comments Committee, and has spoken and written on a wide range of international antitrust issues. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Stony Brook University.
