Ignatius Grande is a Director in BRG’s Global Investigations & Strategic Intelligence group where he advises clients on issues relating to electronic discovery, digital forensics, and information management.  With his legal and technical expertise, he bridges the gap that may exist between IT and legal/compliance personnel. He has served as a court-appointed neutral forensic examiner, he has been retained as an expert witness in matters relating to the spoliation of data, and he has worked with numerous clients as their eDiscovery advisor.

Mr. Grande often works with companies and law firms to address complex information management issues and the onboarding of new software and technologies, including artificial intelligence software. He works with companies to effectively implement information management practices and has implemented policies relating to information security, data privacy, records retention, legal holds, and mobile device governance.

Mr. Grande recently served as the Chair of the New York State Bar Association Commercial & Federal Litigation Section and as the President of the New York Metro Chapter of the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS). 

He previously was Senior Discovery Counsel for Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, he was Senior Counsel at Louis Dreyfus Corporation, and he started his career as an associate at Clifford Chance US LLP. He also served as a law clerk to Hon. James M. Munley of the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
