Bipasana Poudel - Staff Development & Training Coordinator

I am a junior majoring in computer science and commute by car from Nutley, New Jersey. On campus, I am an active member of FUPAC. Outside of campus, I am an IT Student Assistant at Novo Nordisk. After graduation, I plan to work in the cybersecurity and Information Technology field while getting my master's in Cybersecurity. My favorite thing about being a CA is the team and the friends I've made after joining the team. Additionally, I love meeting new students and advising them based on my experiences at Fordham! I love going to the gym, watching TV, playing video games, and playing with my dog during my free time.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at [email protected]!

Dana Kien - Staff Development & Training Coordinator

My name is Dana Kien, and I commute from the Bronx, New York! I commute to campus by car and, occasionally, public transit! I am a Senior graduating in the Spring of 2025 from Fordham College at Rose Hill, studying Political science and Spanish. In addition to being a Commuter Assistant, I am also a delegate of Fordham's Student Life Council (CLSC), representing CSS and the Office for Student Involvement. In my free time, I work for a local NYC City Council Office and spend time with my wonderful family. Two plans of mine post-grad are to become a Paralegal or work in NYC Politics and, eventually, attend law school! My favorite thing about being a CA is watching event attendees make friends and enjoy our services. Nothing is better than seeing our commuter community find a home away from home at Fordham. Lastly, one fun fact about me is that I am trilingual: I speak English, Spanish, and Vietnamese!

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at [email protected]!

Michele Tran - Marketing & Outreach Coordinator

I'm a sophomore at Fordham University majoring in Accounting. I commute from the vibrant neighborhood of Astoria, Queens, using a mix of the N, 4, 5, and 6 subway lines, and the Metro-North train, which takes around an hour to get to campus. On campus, I work at the Walsh Library as a desk assistant. It's a great way to stay connected with the campus community. One of my big goals after graduation is to obtain my CPA license. As a CA, one of the things I love most is the team dynamics and the chance to interact with others at events. I have a passion for embroidery, sketching, and listening to music.

Michael Buana - Academic & Career Coordinator

I'm Michael Buana, a CO2027 sophomore who's studying Finance, Asian American Studies, and Mathematics! I commute from the lovely Little Neck of far-eastern Queens, but live where it's pretty much a transit desert, so I drive to Whitestone and take the Q44-SBS/Bx9 to get to campus. At Fordham, I'm extensively involved in a lot of clubs (think everything from Badminton to Blockchain & Fintech), but also with the Center for Community Engaged Learning in Urban Plunge and public transportation advocacy! Otherwise, I've worked as a Development Intern at Lambda Legal, started an international cryptocurrency mining collective with $15,000+ in profits, and am the founder of the world's first Indonesian American wiki. While I'm not sure yet of my post-grad plans, my goal is to support the betterment of society as a whole, and my favorite thing about being a CA aligns with that; helping other commuters have a better time at Fordham. Feel free to reach out if you ever want to chat!
