Join us for the annual Family Weekend at the Rose Hill campus on October 27-29, 2023. Each year, Family Weekend is a wonderful opportunity for families to visit with their students and celebrate their accomplishments at the Rose Hill campus in the Bronx.
The weekend provides the chance for students' relatives to experience Fordham University firsthand and to interact with:
- Faculty and administrators
- Students and siblings
- Other Ram parents!
We welcome you to take advantage of the many events offered throughout the weekend. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to spend time with your student and enjoy the Fordham community!

Friday, October 27th
Optional Tours of Campus | Departing from Keating Steps | 4:00pm-5:00pm
Arriving early to campus? Take a tour of campus to familiarize yourself with Rose Hill as we head into Family Weekend! The tour will stop at key places to remember on campus such as dining areas, Starbucks, O’Hare Lawn and more!
Welcome Reception & Resource Fair | Keating Steps | 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Welcome to the Rose Hill Campus! Mingle with different Fordham administrators, and other families over music, hor d’oeuvres and refreshments. University staff and students will be available to welcome you and answer any questions about the University, surrounding neighborhood, and local restaurants.
CAB Presents: Spooky Bingo | Keating 1st Auditorium | 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us for CAB’s famous Bingo game night for a chance to win some fabulous prizes and be with the Fordham University community! Tickets are not required but recommended.
Saturday, October 28th
Continental Breakfast | Keating Steps | 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Fuel up for the day of the big game with us on Keating steps coffee, tea, and breakfast! Tickets are not required.
Parents University: A Classroom Experience | Keating 2nd and 3rd | 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Experience your own lecture or informational panel and chat with a few of our amazing faculty here at the Rose Hill Campus! Tickets are not required.
Welcome and Conversation with President Tetlow | Saturday, October 28th | Keating 1st | 11:00 am
Game Day Lunch | O’Hare Lawn | 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Enjoy delicious food trucks while mingling with others on the O’Hare Lawn. Individual food items can be purchased at each truck offered. Tickets are not required.
Cards to Home | McShane Campus Center Gallery | 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Want to write to your family who may be home this weekend? Stop by Keating Hall and join other students to write a card to your family at home. We will mail it for you!
Fordham University Football Game | Moglia Stadium | 1:00 pm
Join your student and their friends to watch the big game and cheer on our Rams as they take on Holy Cross. Go Rams! For more information on Football tickets, please visit Fordham University Athletics.
Family Weekend Mass | University Church | 4:30 pm
Come together to worship at the University’s family liturgy. No ticket is required; additional seating will be provided in the basement chapel.
Dine on Arthur Ave (On Your Own)
Make your way over to the famous Arthur Ave for some amazing food! Join your family for a delicious dinner at any of Arthur Ave's delicious restaurants. We highly recommend making personal reservations prior to Family Weekend!
Maroon Mainstage | Fordham Prep Theatre | Overflow Room: McShane Great Hall | 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Join Fordham’s finest performing groups for a night of music and dance! Tickets are required | A livestream of the performance is available

Sunday, October 29th
NYC Style Brunch | Great Hall | 9:30 am - 1:00 pm | Adults: $20.00 - Children (under 12): $15.00
Join us for a delicious New York City style brunch before returning home–safe travels! Tickets must be purchased for all planning to attend - including students and siblings.
Hidden in Plain Sight: Discovering the Jesuit Presence at Rose Hill | Meet at the Great Hall | 11:00 am
Fordham is The Jesuit University of New York City--what does that mean? Who are the Jesuits? What is their connection to education? What does it mean for the education at Fordham today? Come for a walking tour of the campus with former Fordham Law School Assistant Dean Robert J. Reilly, FCRH '72, LAW '75, and see Rose Hill with new eyes. You may be delighted and amazed!

Some events will be complimentary and others will include a cost per ticket. Registration will conclude on Wednesday, October 18 or until sold out or at capacity.
