Summer Housing

All non-graduating Fordham undergraduate students and current resident Fordham law students are eligible to apply to summer housing as long as they are taking classes or participating in an internship.

Summer Housing Deposit

  • $50 nonrefundable deposit
  • Deposits will be accepted between Tuesday, April 7 - Friday, April 17 at 5 p.m.
  • The deadline for Summer housing deposits is April 17 at 5 p.m.

How to Make Your Deposit

  • In order to deposit, students need to go to MyPages and select Housing Deposit Payment in the housing channel. Please be sure to deposit $50 for SUMMER 2026 and not another year or amount.
  • Summer Housing Applications will be available on Monday, April 20 at 12 p.m. and must be submitted by Wednesday, April 29, at 5 p.m.
  • Summer Housing will only be guaranteed to students who deposited for Summer 2026 by the deadline.
  • Application is due Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 5 PM

Other Important Information

  • First Come - First Served: Lincoln Center and Rose Hill summer housing are first come-first served; however, priority will be given to students taking classes.
  • Current resident students at Lincoln Center will need to be available from Wednesday, 5/13 through Sunday, 5/24 to move into their summer assignment. If you cannot move during this time frame, you will need to move out all of your belongings and return to campus on Sunday, May 24 for Summer Session 1 move in.
  • Current resident students at Rose Hill will need to be available on Friday, May 15th between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. to move into their summer assignment. If you cannot be available during this time frame, you will need to move out all of your belongings and return to campus on Friday, May 22, 2026 for Summer Session I move in.
  • Commuters at Lincoln Center need to email the Office of Residential Life at [email protected] in order to fill out the application.
  • Commuters at Rose Hill will need to pay their $50 deposit with Student Accounts and then email the Office of Residential Life at [email protected] in order to fill out the application.
  • Any student who submits a summer housing application and withdraws will lose their $50 deposit.
  • Rose Hill students are not permitted to stay at LC for Intersession and must move out at the end of Summer Session 2 (no exceptions)
  • Lincoln Center students are not permitted to stay at RH for Intersession and must move out at the end of Summer Session 2 (no exceptions)
  • Please note that you must cancel your housing 10 days prior to the start of the intended session.  If you do not cancel 10 days prior, you are responsible for the full summer session charge.

Rose Hill students looking to stay at Lincoln Center for the summer will need to follow the Rose Hill summer application process since they indicate the sessions they are interested in staying in housing and the campus they want to reside on.

  • Summer Session I | Location Martyrs' Court

    • Move-In for Rose Hill Residential Students Only:  Friday, May 15th, 2026 between 10am-3pm  
    • Move-In for Non-Residential Students: Friday, May 22th, 2026, between 10am - 3pm
    • Move-Out for Summer Session I: Friday, June 26th, 2026 by 12pm

    Summer Session II | Location: Martyrs' Court

    • Move-In for SSII Students: Monday, June 29th, 2026 between 12pm - 5pm
    • Move-Out for Students Vacating After SSII: Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 by 12pm

    Intersession | TBD

    • Intersession is only available for Rose Hill students with a Fall 2026 University housing assignment.  You will not be approved for Intersession at Rose Hill if you have a Lincoln Center Housing assignment.
      Lincoln Center students and commuting students are not permitted to stay at Rose Hill for Intersession and must move out at the end of Summer Session II (no exceptions)
      Move-Out (to FA26 Assignments): Date: TBD
      • Intersession Housing provides students a bridge between Summer Housing and Early Arrival.
      • Intersession is not in the same building as Summer Housing.
      • As intersession is during the one where final preparations are being made for Fall 2026 opening, you must be prepared to move into your Fall 2026 housing assignment within 48 hours of receiving a notice to move from the Office of Residential Life.
        • No exceptions can be made, as August is a hectic period with Early Arrival, Preseason, and maintenance work in the Residence Halls.

    Rates for Summer 2026

    • Summer Session Rates: $1295 per session
    • Intersession Rates: $475

    Early Arrival Housing

    • If you are eligible and approved for Intersession, you are also approved for Early Arrival Housing, which is in your Fall 2026 housing assignment. You do not need to fill out the Early Arrival form if you are approved for intersession. Please note that if you are participating in Intersession, your move in date may vary and is subject to the discretion of the Early Arrival Team.

    Additional Notes

    • Students working through the Office of Student Employment are granted a discount if they complete all hours required.
    • Rates at Lincoln Center are typically higher, but Rose Hill students are welcome to apply.
    • No exceptions will be granted for eligibility of Intersession Housing or for moving in or out on dates outside of those listed above.
    • Failure to comply with the above dates and policies may result in Student Conduct action, fines, and/or removal of items from the room.

      • Move in: Sunday, May 24 at noon
      • Move out: Friday, June 26 by noon
      • Double room rate: $1,545
      • Single room rate: $1,815 
    • Summer Session II: June 29 - August 5
      • Move in:  Monday, June 29 from 6-9pm
      • Move out: Wednesday, August 5 by noon
      • Double room rate: $1,545
      • Single room rate: $1,815
    • Intersession: August 6 - August 22
      • Move in: Wednesday, August 6 thru Saturday, August 22
      • Double room rate: $620
      • Single room rate: $725
      • Important: Intersession residents must have a Fall 2026 assignment in McMahon Hall or they may not stay for Intersession at LC)
      • LC Students will need to be housing for summer session 2 to sign up for Intersession.
