Integrated Learning Community for Responsible Business

The Integrated Learning Community for Responsible Business (ILCRB) empowers students to lead with purpose. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, alumni engagement, and intentional reflection, ILCRB cultivates future business leaders committed to sustainability, impact, and professional excellence.

The community provides students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of business, responsibility, and sustainability while enhancing their own personal network of friends and colleagues.

The Integrated Learning Community for Responsible Business strives to:

  •       Provide a co-curricular learning experience
  •       Offer ethical and informed business preparation
  •       Enhance one’s understanding of the important, positive role business can have on society.

The Integrated Learning Community for Responsible Business is located on the 3rd floor of O’Hare Hall Residential College and is available to sophomore students. This community will also integrate academic excellence, residential activities, and service related to business’s role in society.

All residents will be enrolled in two Gabelli School courses (one each semester) on the floor where they live. Residents will also be required to:

  •       Attend lectures by business executives
  •       Engage in an experiential opportunity to reinforce responsible business principles.

It is not a requirement to be a business major to apply to the Integrated Learning Community for Responsible Business. However, we strongly encourage applicants to have a specific interest in business and willingness to participate in the programmatic efforts.

Efforts for this Integrated Learning Community are coordinated by:

Leigh Anne Statuto: Executive Director - Responsible Business Center ([email protected] )

Dean Leslie Roca: Assistant Dean of Sophomores - Gabelli School of Business ([email protected])
