Reasons to Join:

Free EMT Training Opportunities
Eligible members who meet certain participation and service requirements may have the opportunity to attend EMT school at no cost and work toward becoming a New York State–certified EMT.

Gain Valuable Clinical Experience
FUEMS provides meaningful exposure to patient care, emergency medicine, and real-world clinical situations, valuable experience for students interested in medicine, nursing, PA school, public health, and other healthcare careers.

Earn Volunteer and Service Hours
Learn how to communicate under pressure, work as part of a team, make decisions in challenging situations, and take on leadership roles within a student-run emergency medical organization.

Learn Beyond the Classroom
Gain practical knowledge about emergency medicine, patient assessment, campus operations, public safety, and the surrounding community.
