Here are just a handful of the initiatives bolstered by your support.
Access and Affordability
Your gifts helped us establish the Diversity Fund, which enables the University to continue providing access and opportunity to low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students. The fund provides financial aid, including room and board assistance, to undergraduates at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center who might otherwise be unable to attend the University.
Student Wellness and Success
Your gifts helped us complete the first phase of the new campus center at Rose Hill. This major renovation and expansion project—featuring a 9,500-square-foot lounge; offices dedicated to the Career Center, Campus Ministry, and the Center for Community Engaged Learning; and a large, versatile space specifically designed for meetings and special events—will enhance the quality of life for all students and benefit the entire University community.
The Largest, Most Diverse Class Ever
Fordham welcomed more than 2,800 first-year students to the University on Opening Day this year, making the incoming class the largest in the University’s history. The Class of 2025 is also the most diverse class Fordham has ever had, with more than 44% domestic students of color and 6.5% international students.
Exclusive New York City Internship Opportunities for Fordham Students
Your gifts created opportunities for Fordham students through the new Cultural Engagement Internships program. This initiative provides Fordham students with paid internships at local nonprofits and cultural institutions, many of which incorporate racial and social justice as part of their programming. Partner organizations including the Bronx Book Festival, the New York Hall of Science, the Elmhurst/Corona Recovery Initiative, and the Brooklyn Museum are helping students gain valuable firsthand experience, broaden their networks, and put Fordham’s Jesuit mission into action.

Empowered, they emerge from their experience at Fordham as recognizably Jesuit graduates.
