Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling for Graduate PLUS Loan

If you are a first-time Graduate PLUS borrower at Fordham, you must complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling session before receiving loan proceeds.

Your loan will not disburse without completion of these requirements:

The Master Promissory Note (MPN) is a legal document in which you promise to repay your loan(s). It also explains the terms and conditions of your loan(s). You must complete a separate MPN for a Graduate PLUS Loan. Completion of the subsidized/unsubsidized MPN does NOT satisfy this requirement.

Entrance Counseling is an online tutorial that explains your rights and responsibilities as a borrower. If you already completed Entrance Counseling for a Subsidized/Unsubsidized MPN, this DOES satisfy the requirement for Graduate PLUS Loan borrowing.
