Advisor and Administrator
Allison Pfingst is a fashion historian and archivist. She earned her master’s degree in Dress and Textile Histories from the University of Glasgow and her B.A. in Art History from Fordham University. She holds a professional designation in Collections Management for Costume and Textiles for which she completed her training at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Her research focuses on the use of dress in constructing and perpetuating female archetypes and stereotypes throughout history.
