Helping our students get in, gear up, and go beyond

The student experience is paramount to the Forward campaign. If Fordham Law is to attract a talented and diverse class year after year, then the School must ensure every single student feels valued and engaged. Opportunities to interact are plentiful, but we must guarantee these interactions lead to even more meaningful connections.

Forward will focus on three aspects of the student experience:

Preparing our students to solve real-world problems

Fordham Law centers, institutes, clinics, and other groups bring students and faculty together to work on different policy areas and legal subjects. This collaboration creates opportunities for experiential learning that allows students to apply lessons and theory toward policy and problem solving. The campaign will expand the reach of these initiatives for years to come.

Forward will focus on three areas of engagement and impact:

Challenging our students to think critically about the law

Fordham Law School celebrates deep knowledge, which is so critical to the legal profession and to society. The campaign will ensure that the School continues to attract and retain world-class talent in the classroom so that our students are well prepared for the courtroom.

Forward = will focus on four areas of scholars and resources:

Faculty, Law and Technology, Student-edited Publications, and Unrestricted Annual Funds
