Artists Representation Society
ARS
Artist Representation Society (ARS) is dedicated to empowering the artistic community by providing access to legal education and resources at the intersection of law and the cultural sphere. ARS brings together Fordham Law students who are interested in engaging with creative law professions that span the visual arts, performing arts, music, publishing, fashion, and entertainment law. ARS strives to educate and encourage Fordham Law students to understand legal issues from the artist’s perspective and to hear first-hand from artists in various disciplines about the legal issues they face. Our events include informational workshops, speaker series with artists and legal practitioners, and experiential opportunities with non-profit organizations providing legal services to artists.
