    Additional Volunteering Opportunities Available!
Looking to get involved? We're excited to share new volunteering opportunities with some amazing local organizations:
    • StriveHigher – Empower individuals through education and mentorship. Become a virtual reading buddy, with a K-3 grade child from the Bronx. Spend 30 - 60 minutes online once a week to help increase reading literacy.
    • Grounds Cafe – Support a community-run café focused on social impact. Volunteers are needed to serve coffee, run events, and converse with local community members ( Spanish and French language skills are helpful!).
    • GML Belmont Catholic Community Center – Assist in programs that serve families. Volunteers are needed to help mentor children, and assist with language and other classes for adults.
    • Part of the Solution is a loving community in the Bronx striving to serve all who come to our doors. From meeting immediate needs to offering long-term comprehensive services, we partner with each individual to empower them to reach their potential.
As a POTS  volunteer, you will:
      • Sort, bag, and distribute grocery items, work in the kitchen preparing meals and keep the working areas clean and organized
      Qualifications and skills:
      • Volunteers should be friendly, able to stand for long periods of time
      • Bilingual English/Spanish volunteers encouraged!
      • Schedules- Morning Meal Prep & Pantry Distribution:  8:00 AM- 11:30 AM or Lunch Service & Pantry Prep: 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM
