Ka-Ling is a NY-based actor, teacher and director. She is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and Performance and the BFA Program Director at The New School. She also teaches at NYU Tisch Dance and Marymount Manhattan College. She has taught at Columbia University, Juilliard Dance Division, Syracuse University's Tepper Semester, and Suny Purchase. Her acting credits include the Broadway tour of "War Horse" and the National Tour of "The King and I”. NY: “Golden Shield” at MTC. Regional credits include: American Conservatory Theater, American Repertory Theater, The Rep at St. Louis, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Long Wharf Theatre, TheatreSquared, San Jose Rep, Portland Center Stage, Pittsburgh Public, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Artists Repertory Theatre, Weston Stage, Berkshire Playwrights Lab and others. She was also in the world premiere of "Wild Swans" at the Young Vic in London. TV credits include: East New York, Evil, Harlan Coben's Shelter, The Other Two, Uncoupled, Broad City, Law & Order: SVU & Organized Crime, Blue Bloods, Limitless, Elementary, and others. She received her MFA from the American Conservatory Theater. She was the recipient of the Lloyds Richards Fellowship through the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and was a Teaching Fellow at Juilliard School of Drama. She is a proud member of The Actors Center and 52nd Street Project.
