Access the WiFi Network
Indoors and out, nearly every square inch of Fordham's campuses provide access to the wireless network. To gain access to the network for the first time, point your device to Connect-Fordham-WiFi. During the initial process for preparing your device to access the wireless network, you'll be given the choice to join as a faculty, staff, or student, or as a guest. Depending on how you decide to join the network, your device will ultimately be connected to either "Fordham-S," the network for faculty, staff, and students, or "Fordham-P," for guests, once you have completed the authentication process. Certain devices and activities are prohibited from the wireless network. For current guidelines, consult the acceptable use policy for the wireless network.

Accessing Fordham’s wireless network for the first time is a simple, one-time, process that will take only a few minutes to complete. Follow the instructions for your device.
Note: Fordham's wireless network only supports devices that use a 5 GHz connection. Adaptors are available for students, faculty, and staff with laptops that do not support 5GHz. Contact IT Customer Care if you would like an adapter. (You will need to bring your laptop to the ITCC in order to have the adapter installed.)
