A director, actress and vocal coach, Andrea Haring is the Associate Director of The Linklater Center for Voice and Language and the Coordinator for Linklater Teacher Training. In addition to teaching at Fordham, she is currently on faculty at Columbia Graduate Theater Program and Circle in the Square Theatre School. Andrea has previously taught at Yale School of Drama, The New Actor’s Workshop, NYU Tisch Undergraduate Drama, and Dartmouth College. She regularly teaches at various theater schools and companies in London, Spain, Italy, Germany, England, Mexico and Iceland.
Andrea coaches extensively On and Off Broadway – including The Motherf****er With The Hat, a Behanding in Spokane, John Gabriel Borkman and Creditors (at BAM with Alan Rickman), Reasons To Be Pretty (Tony Nominee 2009), The Little Flower of East Orange and Jack Goes Boating(Labyrinth Theater at The Public), Suddenly Last Summer, The Rose Tattoo, and Bridge and Tunnel with Sarah Jones (Tony Winner 2006).
Andrea is also a member of Labyrinth Theater Company. In her corporate work she has taught executive voice workshops to the Columbia Senior Executive Program through the Business School, The Global Fellows for The World Economic Forum and professionals of all disciplines who want freer, more expressive voices.
