AmeriCorps VISTA Programs

Since 2012, the Feerick Center for Social Justice has received support through the Corporation for National and Community Service (“CNCS”) for its Legal, Economic and Education Advancement Project (“LEEAP”).  The CNCS’s AmeriCorps VISTA Program brings VISTA members to the Feerick Center and to three of the Center’s partnering organizations. VISTA members devote a year of service to anti-poverty efforts through capacity-building initiatives, specifically by leveraging volunteers to engage in a variety of pro bono projects.

The Feerick Center is proud to partner with the following organizations as part LEEAP:

  • Legal Assistance of Western New York
  • Pro Bono Net
  • Volunteers of Legal Service
